Angular not working
I am trying to figure out why my angular 2 app is stuck on showing Loading Following someone's suggestion, I've tried this plunker, posted by someone on stack overflow, on both chrome and IE Works fine on Chrome, but fails on IE Same error, stuck on saying "Loading The latest version of angular is only setup for evergreen browsers by default The current setup is for so-called "evergreen" browsers; the last versions of browsers that automatically update themselves.
This also includes firefox, although not mentioned. See here for more information on browser support along with a list of suggested polyfills for specific browsers. This means that you manually have to enable the correct polyfills to get Angular working in IE11 and below.
To achieve this, go into polyfills. If you are still having issues, you can downgrade the target property to es5 in tsconfig. What this does is change the compilation output of any es6 definitions to es5 definitions. You can find a list of es6 supported browsers here. The answer is, yes they are!Google photos tags
I have invested in trying to solve this however it does not seem possible at this time. Versions higher than this no longer support "older" IE versions. I had the exact same issue and none of the solutions worked for me. Instead adding the following line in the homepage. I ran into this issue today. I found an solution on GitHub that does not require going to a later version of the beta.
This resolved the problem for me. Using an Angular-Cli project, all lines in the polyfills.

However, my app stops working as soon as I add [ ngModel ] to my component template, even though the FormsModule is imported in the module. The component does not load. I am using Visual Studio Code. This is my app. In addition of FormsModule needed in the imports section of the module declaration, you have to use a form tag, or a ngForm directive to enable the ngModel functionalities.
Source : Angular documentation. As others pointed out, it is important to import the FormsModule e. In this specific question, it was missing in the import section. If you just use ngModel standalone, without a form somewhere, you don't have to specify a name for the input.Syze optike cmimi
But when you do use it in a form, the name attribute becomes mandatory! When using the ngModel within tags, you'll also need to supply a name attribute so that the control can be registered with the parent form under that name.

In other words, if Component B is child of Component A, you can't expect to inject them both into the same router outlet that you have on app level. Either, have a router outlet inside PostHomeComponent - this may or may not be what you want as you would end up displaying both Parent and Child components at the same time.

So it becomes hard for me to terminate the server and connect the server, when ever the changes are made, so I request you people if any one know solution of this problem please help me out. I also encountered the same problem a few days back in my linuxOS, and when I read about it, I found that this problem is heavily dependent on the system you use and the way you did your setup for angular-cli, both globally and locally. If you are using an earlier version of Angular, please see my previous article on this topic. In Firefox it looks like this:. Well, it seems to be doing something because at least the title is correct. If we open the Browser Console and re-load the page, we see something like: Unspecified error. You need to change that last line by removing the not. After you make the changes the last line should read:. However, if all you care about is supporting Internet Explorer in production, the previous steps are enough.Railway line scrap
Now you can use a web server to test. For example, I will use local-web-server with npx. This serves up your Angular application. Point Internet Explorer at it and you should see:. You can find your tsconfig.
Open it up in your IDE or text editor and you will see:. Notice that line: target: es You can change it to es5. It will then look like this:. Supporting Internet Explorer in Angular is easy if you just remember where to find the polyfills.

The Best Angular Grid in the world. Sign up for our newsletter.Resolving problems of your angular application can be very challenging. When your angular app is not working and all it gives you are some cryptic red lines in a console.
Especially when you are a beginner, these problems can turn the development process with angular into a real pain. But trust me, it does not have to be painful. In fact, I think angular development is one of the smoothest development experience I had so far. All you need to do is avoid some very common mistakes, almost every angular developer had to deal with.
We will take a closer look at each of 11 mistakes. I will explain to you, why it is actually a mistake and point you in the right direction with at least one possible solution. Probably the most common mistakes, beginners make, is not to import the required modules. Because they don't even know about them. Of course, they don't. Getting an overview of the angular framework takes some time.
Unfortunately, that often results in mysteriously not working angular applications. The errors you get look something like this:.
This error indicates, that the angular Forms Module has not been imported into your module. This error tells you, that you have not imported the angular HttpClient Module into your root module.
To resolve the problem, you need to import the missing module into your module. Most of the cases, that module would be the AppModule in your app directory. Only import the modules you really need! Importing unnecessarily module bloats your application size significantly. This advice does not only apply to framework angular modules. It also applies to any angular module you might want to use, including third-party ones. It is good practice for third party libraries to split up in as many modules as possible, to keep the size of your application small.
With Angular Materialfor example, you have to import a module, for every component you use. With the help of the ViewChild decorator, angular makes it very easy to reference specific child elements html nodes or components of your component. All you need to do is to add a reference identifier to the node or component inside of your template. Just add a followed by a name beside the nodes attributes. We can now reference that element from our component.
If it is a component, we can call its public methods and access its properties.
